Credit Salesman
Basic Function
Deals with major customers (key accounts) like class A supermarkets, wholesalers, major pharmacies and institutions. Is responsible for implementing company sales fundamentals. Provides complete coverage of his assigned territory. Responsible for achieving sales and collection targets. Identifies sales prospects, converts them into customers. Develops high customers’ relationship.
Duties And Responsibilities- By adhering to his daily call plan, visits customers on regular basis, review their business needs, fills up sales orders and arranges for delivery.
- Implements perfect order system which specifies that delivery must be on time, complete, free of mistakes and damages. Coordinates with his manager/supervisor corrective actions in cases of late or partial delivery.
- Opens new sale outlets under directions of his manager/ supervisor, establishes contacts with the new customer.
- Submits daily sales and collection reports for review.
- Introduces/promotes new products to customers.
- Monitors overall paper/diaper market. Provides feedback on competitors’ prices, terms and conditions, promotions ….etc.
- Maintains contacts with key customers’ staff, resolves any problems within his authority or refers it to his manager/supervisor.
- Maintains records of customer performance (customer card). Determines customer potentials and projects sales in certain periods or seasons.
- Adheres to company credit policy:
- Collects all outstanding invoices
- Provides collected amounts to cashier on daily basis
- Reports any collection problems to his manager/supervisor
- Maintains his car and keeps it an operating condition.
- Complying with legal requirements and industry standards. Report hazards identified and Aspect-Impact analysis.
- Diploma degree of any specialization
- 4 to 6 years in FMCG sales
- Good command of both Arabic and English languages
- Good Computer capabilities
