E-Commerce Specialist

Basic Function

The E-Commerce Specialist is responsible for coordinating all e-commerce activities to drive awareness, new customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue for UGHI. This professional computer knowledge will lead the day-to-day execution of the e-commerce business and online sales strategy and brand retailer websites, aligned to the broader strategies and objectives of the company.

Duties And Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in the development and movement of key Ecommerce initiatives.
  2. Deliver online sales targets and online metrics.
  3. Assist with the creation of online and digital campaigns, and social media management.
  4. Support the Ecommerce Manager with various campaigns and ad hoc tasks.
  5. Constantly review the site performance and the effectiveness / efficiency of production activities.
  6. Responsible for meeting online sales plans and tracking individual accounts monthly sales targets.
  7. Maintain relationships with e-commerce retail partners and manage partner/client expectations.
  8. Manage site development and launch activities for all new e-commerce accounts including product descriptions, images, assets, banners, brand pages, and other attributes.
  9. Liaise with Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, and Operations teams to manage the DTC customer experience through online brand image, content, product assortment, navigation, promotions, and information architecture for optimal site performance and functionality.
  10. Support and manage the creation and execution of all e-commerce promotional activities and merchandising strategy.
  11. Assist with analysis of product performance reports and e-commerce best practices to arrive at recommendations on how to improve sales.
  12. Implement strategies to grow incremental revenue per current customer base and strategies to acquire new online customers.
  13. Identify and survey market trends, new product launches/innovations, and stay up-to-date on trends in e-commerce.
Qualifications Education
  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration with focus on marketing from reputable university.
Experience
  • 2-3 years’ experience working in an ecommerce environment.
  • Proven experience of liaising with stakeholders.
Skills
  • The ability to understand and coordinate data reports and highlight key trends.
  • Understands customer product lifecycles and journeys.
  • Excellent communications, copywriting, and project management skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency of Microsoft Excel, word, and power point.
  • Excellent Command of both Arabic and English languages.
