Sales Analyst

Basic Function

The Sales Analyst will play a critical role in providing data-driven insights and analysis to support sales operations and strategic decision-making in the UGHI. The ideal candidate should have strong proficiency in Excel commands, data analysis, and report building. A background in accounting or finance is preferred, and the candidate should be familiar with the Saudi Arabian market. The Sales Analyst will report to the Finance Manager and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales performance and optimize business outcomes.

Duties And Responsibilities:
  1. Perform data analysis and generate reports to evaluate sales performance, market trends, and customer behavior.
  2. Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts, utilizing historical data and market intelligence.
  3. Collaborate with the Sales team to identify growth opportunities, improve sales strategies, and optimize revenue generation.
  4. Build reports and dashboards using Excel and other relevant software to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  5. Conduct in-depth analysis of sales data to identify key factors influencing sales performance and recommend strategies for improvement.
  6. Conduct ROI analysis on Sales promotion initiatives.
  7. Monitor sales targets, track progress, and provide regular reports to management, highlighting areas of achievement and areas needing attention.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Finance, and Operations, to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives.
  9. Support the Finance Manager in budgeting, financial analysis, and forecasting related to sales activities.
  10. Provide ad-hoc analysis and support to senior management as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Analyst in the FMCG industry, preferably in the Saudi Arabian market.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel commands and advanced data analysis techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Experience in building reports and dashboards using relevant software tools.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to translate data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, market dynamics, and customer segmentation.
